アーロンのセリフ。heelは「かかと」の意味で、bring someone to heelで「<人>を服従させる」といった意味。またcome to heelで「<人が>服従する」「（犬が）すぐ後ろについてくる」といった意味になる。

アーロンの「You’ll have a special place in my empire」に対するナミの返答。I’d better (have a special place in your empire)という意味だろうから、ニュアンスとしては「そうに決まってるでしょ（何言ってんの？）」みたいな感じか。

ゼフの返答。draw a blankで「思い出せない」「失敗に終わる」「外れくじを引く」の意味。例：He said we’d met before, but I just drew a blank.（Cambridge Dictionary）

「飯でもどうだ」に続けてゼフが言うセリフ。marblingは「霜降り肉」。marbleは本来「大理石」の意味で、動詞で「大理石模様をつける」といった意味がある。

バギーが袋の中でわめくシーン。lollygagで「ぶらぶら過ごす」の意味。類義語はdawdle。

サンジのセリフ。pipe downは「黙ってろ」の意味。

ゲンゾウがナミに答えるセリフ。bleed ~ dryで「～から（金や資源などを）搾り取る」の意味。

アーロンのセリフから。hold out on someoneで「<人>に知らせないでおく、隠し事をする」の意味。

ナミにノジコが言うセリフ。desecrateは「（神聖なものを）汚す」の意味。

回想シーンでアーロンが少女時代のナミに言うセリフ。even the scoreで「仕返しをする」。また「同点にする」の意味もある。例：They evened the score at 5–5.
